XyliMind Oy has developed a new tooth-friendly pastil, the effectiveness of which is based on the combined effect of xylitol and erythritol in combating caries.

There is a strong research background for both sweeteners that they prevent tooth decay. However, their mechanism of action is slightly different.

According to experts in the field, a product with a combination of these is the most effective caries repellent.

Xylitol effectively inhibits the growth of streptococcus in the mouth after meals, while erythritol prevents the attachment of a bacterial mass, plaque, to the tooth surface.
